A little love from our friends
When I moved to the area, I was looking for a fitness location that offered: 1) friendly staff and well-equipped space; 2) trainer scheduling that would support my work schedule; and 3) a transformative training approach that could take me to the next level of fitness. Fit Family Smyrna has met all three and then some. As a retired U.S. Army officer and someone who has worked out all my life, I fully recommend Fit Family Smyrna to anyone who wants to maximize their health and get in the best shape of their lives.
I had never had a trainer before, and I loved the summer I spent working out here in college! My trainer even gave me instructions for exercises I could do back at school.
Coach Robert planned “Off-Ice” trainings for my son’s league hockey team. He planned each workout, sending an outline to the other coaches and being open to feedback and constructive criticism. He seem to have an overall plan for the boys for the season. And even though it was his first time coaching “professionally,” having been a volunteer “parent” coach previously, the Youth 16 (U16) team went on to win the National Championship. I was aware that he had trained professional and even Olympic athletes in the past, but I had no idea how his conditioning program would affect the overall effectiveness of the team ON the ice. Off Ice training is becoming a big part of hockey, and I am glad we had Coach Robert last year. If your team gets the chance to hire him, you should!
I’ve had an old back injury that’s troubled me for years; Robert has the certification and know-how to help work around that and still pursue fitness. In fact, he has strengthened my core to such a degree that I no longer need pain medication! Robert took the time to get to know me and teach me how to use machines, weights, and exercises that worked for me and my body type.
