Stressed? How to keep health a priority
A lot of clients tell me they are stressed; people have a lot going on in their personal lives. And these days, it feels like everyone is stressed.
The reality is, when you’re deep in the trenches, you can’t control whether or not that stress exists or the amount of rest you’re getting.
But what you can control is choosing to spend whatever free time you have - even if that means waking up earlier and losing a little more sleep - to work out. You can choose to create your workout as a space, both figuratively and literally, in your life where you can get a little relief. When you work out, all you need to do is be present. You don’t need to think about anything else — just by showing up, engaging with your workout, you are prioritizing your mental, emotional, and physical health.
This became a priority in my life to provide this for my clients. If you need us to open the gym up a little early, just to have some space to chill and get ready, we will. If you just need to hit something, we’ve got a punching bag just for you. Whatever you need to make that jump to be comfortable and feel ready to engage with protecting your health, I will make that happen.
We all have stress in our life, and we all can choose to make our bodies and minds stronger to deal with it.
